If she gets tired, I can carry her comfortably and not have to resituate. Personally, I’ve enjoyed that it leaves both arms free (and also doesn’t bump around on my hip like a purse) for hiking with a toddler. Whether you’re out on a hike or in a store or dealing with your kids, this is a boon. The best thing about these Rope Bags and Rope Slings and all their various incarnations is that they free up your hands and front of your body. This is the KAVU Rope Sling Mini and it’s great for keeping your hands and arms free on a hike. The zippered smaller pocket was perfect for my cell phone. The Velcro pocket is smaller and works well for keys. The bag features two vertical zippered larger pockets as well as two smaller compartments, one with a Velcro closure and one zippered. The bags are unisex and have many patterns and colors to suit all tastes and styles. The strap size is adjustable and there’s even a clip if you don’t prefer to slip the bag over your head. You can wear these bags across your body with the bag on your back, or on your shoulder with the bag hanging between the back of your arm and your side. All opinions below are my honest opinions.įirst, the thing I wondered most about as I picked out my bag of choice – what exactly is the difference between the various Rope Bags and Rope Slings and Rope Packs and other various rope bags? The only real difference is the kind of fabric involved. I reached out to them to review because I really loved this thing. Just to disclose, I did get a Rope Sling (similar to the Rope Bag, but more on that later) from KAVU at half off for review purposes, but the story above is true. From that moment, I knew I wanted one and decided now was as good a time as any. I did something I rarely do and went over to her to ask her where she got it because it was just so nifty and unique. I happened to look in her direction and then I saw it. The first time I saw a KAVU Rope Bag, I was at the grocery store, looking at some frozen veggies, and a woman standing next to me had her back toward me.
